Hazchem Signs
Hazchem signs are displayed on storage containers and vehicles to indicate that dangerous chemicals or substances are present.
Hazchem GHS signs are globally recognised as the correct classification and labelling method. These signs have a black image on a white background inside a red diamond.
Where dangerous goods are kept on site, such as flammable liquids, a Hazchem sign with black text and image on a red triangle should be displayed where the goods are kept and at the entrance to the building.
All Hazchem Signs comply with the requirements of Australian Standard AS 1216
