No Smoking Signs
When smoking is not allowed, Australian Standard 1319 states that a Prohibition Sign be used. This shows a cigarette symbol with a red annulus and back slash on a white background, with optional text.
When smoking could cause a fatal incident a Danger Sign must be used. The Danger Sign should have white text on a red oval with a black background.
No smoking signs can also be used to indicate designated smoking areas.
